About Treblos Wind Quintet
Formed in 2007, Treblos Wind Quintet is a young, exciting and diverse group whose musicians study at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Treblos Wind Quintet perform for a wide range of events and projects of which recent highlights include performances for both HRH the Duke of Kent and the Lord Mayor. Treblos has a keen interest in contemporary music and has premiered works by up and coming composers as well as developing ideas and techniques with them in workshop.

A large part of Treblos’ diary is taken up with education projects for both school children and adults. Treblos recently embarked on a tour of Dublin and its surrounding areas, giving performances and workshops involving well over 1000 schoolchildren. Treblos is very proud to be part of Wigmore Hall’s ‘Chamber Tots’ education program in which they play to children aged from 0-5. Treblos is also involved with the company ‘Moving Performance’, whose aim is to facilitate learning and change in organisations through music.
