Hannah Lawrance - Clarinet
Hannah is currently in her fourth year on the undergraduate course at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama studying with Joy Farrell and Andrew Webster. She began learning the clarinet at the age of seven and gained a place at the junior department at Guildhall at the age of fifteen, where she won the Woodwind Prize at the age of seventeen and was invited to perform a recital at Cardiff Millennium Centre. Hannah has been a member of the National Youth Wind Ensemble and principal clarinet of the University of London Symphony Orchestra and has played at many prestigious venues including the Albert Hall, the Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall, St John's Smith Square and St Martin's in the Field.

As well as a great enthusiasm for chamber music Hannah’s other passion lies in musicals. In the last four years, Hannah has played in around thirty different shows and would love to play on the west end one day.

Hannah has recently been awarded a scholarship to continue her studies at the Guildhall to postgraduate level where she will study the saxophone and flute along-side the clarinet. She is always looking for new instruments to master and has just started to learn the oboe!
